Solia handles sensitive laboratory information, so account access, result access, and the boundaries between systems are treated as product architecture — not as an afterthought.
Secure access
Nothing about your testing is reachable without an authenticated session tied to your own account.
Authenticated accounts
Access uses email-verified sign-in. Result, order, and appointment pages require an active session and redirect to sign-in when one is missing.
Authorization per account
Requests are authorized against the signed-in account at the data layer, so one account cannot read another account's orders or results.
Session-scoped surfaces
Portal, billing, results, and order detail views are rendered only for the account that owns them.
Your results remain protected
Released laboratory results are associated with the authenticated patient account they belong to. They are not published to public URLs, and they are not browsable without signing in.
Laboratory-authoritative results
The performing laboratory remains authoritative for official laboratory results, including corrections and re-releases. Solia presents and organizes those released results inside your account.
Data boundaries
Solia connects to a small number of external systems. Only the information each one needs to do its job moves across that boundary.
Laboratory systems
Order and specimen information required to perform testing, and released results returned for presentation.
Payment processing
Payments are completed by an external payment provider. Card details are entered with the provider, not stored by Solia.
Collection services
Collection logistics receive only what is needed to complete an appointment, such as the location and time.
